Cancellation, Returns, and Refund Policy
A. Cancellation Policy
1. To cancel an order:
1.1 Medicines and Healthcare Products:
– Orders for medicines or healthcare products can be cancelled through the ‘Order Details’ screen on the mygenericmeds.co.in website/app or by contacting our customer care number +91 9493211961 before the order is marked as “Out for Delivery”. Alternatively, you can refuse delivery at the time of arrival, and a refund will be processed according to the Refund Policy.
1.2 Diagnostics/Lab Test:
– A diagnostic/lab test can be cancelled at any time unless it is marked as ‘Sample Collected’ by the third-party phlebotomist. Otherwise, you can refuse sample pick-up at the collection location, and a refund will be processed as per the Refund Policy.
B. Return Policy
1. Time period for return of orders:
1.1 Medicine Orders:
– Each product has a specific return policy, ranging from 0-7 days from the delivery date. Details can be found on the product page. Please review the return policy before placing an order.
1.2 Healthcare Products:
– All healthcare products have a specific return and replacement policy, ranging from 0-10 days from the delivery date. Details can be found on the product page. Please review the return policy before placing an order.
[Note: Currently, the Company is not charging any shipping fees for returns.]
2. Products not eligible for Returns:
– Certain products are ineligible for return under the following circumstances:
– If the item has been opened, partially used, or disfigured.
– If the product has been tampered with.
– If the product packaging, box, or seal has been tampered with.
– If stated as non-returnable on the product detail page.
– If any accessories/freebies are missing.
– If the product lacks a serial number/UPC number/barcode.
– If damage/defect is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
– If the product is without original packing and accessories/freebies.
– If the product is damaged due to misuse.
– Products related to personal care, baby care, food & nutrition, healthcare devices, COVID essential products, and sexual wellness products.
– Additionally, certain items such as sexual wellness products and diapers are non-returnable, unless defective, deficient, spurious, or not as advertised, or if delivered late.
3. Additional Note:
– Items marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product detail page or items with an expired return window cannot be returned. If such an item is returned along with another returnable item, mygenericmeds.co.in will disallow a refund or return of the “Non-Returnable” product when verified by our partner licensed retail pharmacy.
C. Refund Policy
1. Timeline for Refunds:
1.1 Refund Estimate:
– Please note that the refund amount displayed at the time of return on the Platform is an estimate and will be finalized after verification. Upon completion of pick-up and verification by the seller, a refund will be initiated for eligible returns, deducting any applicable shipping charges for the returned products.
1.2 Refund Initiation:
– Refunds will be initiated only after successful verification of the products by the seller. The verification process duration is as follows:
– For Local Cities*: 48 hours from the pick-up time at your location.
– For Other Cities: 8-10 business days from the pick-up date at your location.
1.3 Refund Timeline:
– The refund amount is expected to reflect in your account according to the following timelines post verification by the seller:
Method of Payment : Refund Timeframe (after successful verification from third-party pharmacy/vendor)
Cash on Delivery : 1 business day
NEFT : 1-3 business days
Online refund : 7-10 business days subject to the bank turnaround time and RBI Guidelines
Other Wallets : 2-3 business days
1.4 Fraudulent Activity:
– You acknowledge that we reserve the right to reclaim any refund processed due to fraudulent activities, such as returning incorrect products or quantities.
